Long-term Exercise for People with Coronary Heart Disease

Cardiac Rehabilitation programmes have been a feature of cardiac rehabilitation services provided by NHS Tayside for some years. However, these only lasted for a maximum of 12 weeks. Long-term exercise had not been available for people in Angus with coronary heart disease. Angus Cardiac Group, in partnership with NHS Tayside and Angus Council Leisure Services, helped to set this up in 2004.
